An internship is an experience where a high school student learns by taking on a responsible role as a worker in a company or organization and then observing and reflecting on what happened while they were in the workplace. The Internship Program is a supplement to formal classroom instruction. Its intent is to significantly add to the vitality of the instructional program and to impact the courses that a student has taken or will take.

This page lists materials and information needed for the KAES Career Academy Internship course. Internship students complete a 135-hour internship and receive credit and grades for their participation. Credit and grades are assigned after the student completes all requirements and submits all work to the certified staff sponsor.
ASSIGNMENTS SHOULD BE COMPLETED WITHIN THE DUE DATES AS GIVEN IN THE TABLE BELOW.
- Weekly Blog entries will serve as our journal entries. All students must submit at least one blog entry per week.
- Points are determined from the Final Exit Project Requirements
I'm trying something a little different this year. All of my assignments and activities will be posted to a single Google Doc that is linked below.
